You can use instant search to see all mail together - instructions are at. So you have POP accounts in Outlook desktop and IMAP on the phone? You can have 'issues' with this configuration, most commonly, the messages marked read using imap aren't downloaded. Could this be having an impact somehow? (Does seem odd though that the unread count should be OK, but the emails aren't seen until I close/open Outlook. Just had another thought.I recently changed the way these accounts are picked up on my phone to be IMAP (more timely) and they can come into a combined inbox, but haven't changed them in Outlook as a combined inbox isn't possible (as far as I know) and I don't want to see 'n' inboxes.
Selecting another folder and back to the inbox doesn't cause it to populate, neither does send/receive or changing the sort order, or looking at unread items only :thinking:
Actually it is a pst which receives emails from several POP3 accounts - used to behave perfectly correctly until recently.
